Kalakosh Saaz Sargam Inter-school Music Competition 2026

Garden High School participated in the Grand Finale of Kalakosh Saaz Sargam 2026, the prestigious inter-school instrumental music competition hosted by South Point School at G.D.Birla Sabhaghar on 17 June 2026.

Representing the school were Utshan Dey (X D) on the flute and Sanchari Malkhandi (X C) on the tabla. The duo performed before an eminent panel of judges comprising Vidushi Mita Nag and Pandit Samar Saha.

In the opening round, the team presented an eight-minute recital based on Raag Brindavani Sarang, that showcased their command over Hindustani classical music. In the Judge’s Choice round, their soulful rendition of ‘Moh Moh Ke Dhaage’ received an enthusiastic response from the audience and judges alike. Their outstanding performance earned Garden High School the 1st Runners-up trophy at the Grand Finale.
