Road Safety Awareness Workshop
As part of Road Safety Week (3 – 9 August), Garden High School organized a Road Safety Awareness Workshop for its school bus drivers and helpers on 3 August 2026. The initiative, jointly undertaken by the Transport Department, Government of West Bengal and Kolkata Police, promotes responsible driving and safer commuting.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Sudhir Chandra Sharma, Additional Officer-in-Charge, Kasba Traffic Guard and Traffic Sergeant Michael Hossain, who shared essential road safety guidelines, emphasizing adherence to traffic rules, defensive driving, vehicle maintenance and student safety.
The session reinforced the school’s commitment to ensuring safe and secure transportation for all its students.
