Wild Frames Roar

‘Wild Frames Roar’, an inter-school event was hosted by Sri Sri Academy on 19 July 2025. The event was organized to spread awareness about conservation of wildlife, particularly to honour one of the most iconic but endangered species – the tiger.

Garden High School bagged the 1st prize in the film-making competition named ‘The Wild Cut’. The theme of this contest was ‘Urban Wildlife’. The participants were Sagnic Chowdhury (XII A), Aaron Dey (X A), Agni Chatterjee (X B) and Devaarto Ganguli (X E). The short films were judged by renowned wildlife photographer and filmmaker Mr. Subbiah Nallamuthu.

The pupils also performed a short skit and exhibited some photographs as part of a non-competitive event based on the theme ‘Unnoticed Instances from Nature’.

The event was a great learning experience for the students. It was a call for awareness, introspection and action. It helped to deepen the impact of International Tiger Day (29 July).
