Women’s Health Awareness Session conducted by Ruby General Hospital

On 25 March 2026, Ruby General Hospital conducted a Women’s Health Awareness Session at Garden High School. It was conducted by oncologist Dr. Barnini Ghosh and psycho-oncology specialist Ms. Rajnandini Ghosh. It was attended by all female members of the teaching and non-teaching staff.

Dr. Ghosh spoke about common cancers in women, methods of self-assessment and the importance of timely screening tests such as mammograms and pap smears, along with preventive vaccinations. Ms. Ghosh focused on mental health, guiding participants through relaxation techniques and strategies for managing stress and promoting emotional well-being. The workshop received an enthusiastic response from the audience, who found the session both informative and engaging.
