Basic Life Support ( BLS) session by Desun Hospital

Pupils of classes VII and VIII attended an informative and engaging session on Basic Life Support (BLS) organized in collaboration with Desun Hospital. Dr Sujoy Ranjan Deb spoke to the students regarding the importance of first aid training for young pupils. The session was conducted by Dr. Saraswata Mitra and his team and it aimed at equipping students with basic life-saving skills.

A comprehensive power point presentation highlighted essential first aid techniques and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) procedures. Students were engaged in an interactive session along with live demonstrations and hands on CPR training on a mannequin. The use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) was also explained.

Students and teachers who attended the session gained valuable knowledge and skills in first aid and CPR, preparing them to respond effectively during emergencies.

The session was a meaningful and enriching experience for all.
