Ananya Moulik, IV B\u00a0(2018 – 19)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The best picnic I had was funny and delightful. Father had booked a country-house for a picnic. After my elder sister and I were told about the venue, we thought that the day would be boring. We took water and a picnic mat with us.<\/p>\n

My family and I were stunned after reaching there and seeing the number of farm animals. My elder sister and I spent most of the day watching the animals. We tested if cows could eat bread, milked the cows and tried to teach them some fun tricks. We played ‘Hide – N – Seek’ with the hens and fed the animals. My parents plucked apples and oranges from the fruit trees. Mother baked a loaf of bread and prepared orange juice with the fresh oranges. It was lunch time and my family and I had the milk that my sister and I had milked from the cows, bread and orange juice made by Mother, and apples. Then everyone lay down and enjoyed an afternoon siesta.<\/p>\n

Later, we returned home by bus. I describe this picnic as funny and delightful because it was set up in an unusual place where we never had a picnic before. My family and I will always remember this unusual picnic spot and how we spent our day there.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
