A Visit to Prem Dan, a Unit of Missionaries of Charity for Senior Citizens

Pupils of Class XII of Garden High School visited Prem Dan, a unit of Missionaries of Charity, to spend time with the senior citizens residing there. They were welcomed by the sisters of the institution and other staff members who explained to the students the history of the place, the daily activities of its residents, the amenities and treatment available for these elderly and ailing residents.
The pupils engaged in meaningful interactions with the residents and observed that Prem Dan is more than just a place to live in. It is a community where bonds are built, and memories are shared. The children presented a medley of songs and some of the senior citizens also joined them.
It was an insightful experience for the students, made even more memorable by the blessings they received from the kind and affectionate residents of Prem Dan.
