At the Table with Dr. King
Twenty-six students from Classes X, XI and XII attended ‘At the Table with Dr. King’, a special programme hosted by the American Center on 16 July 2026. There was a live documentary performance that brought the American Civil Rights Movement to life through music, poetry, archival footage and the inspiring words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., encouraging students to reflect on the values of equality, respect and courageous leadership. The programme was designed to engage young people through performance and inspire service and leadership within their communities.
There was an interactive session with the American Diplomat Mr Micah Risher during which students shared their reflections on the documentary and discussed its most impactful moments. It proved to be an enriching and thought-provoking experience that inspired students to become more responsible, compassionate and more active members of the society.
