CEMO INTER-SCHOOL ECO FEST, 2026 THEME: JAL-JUNGLE

Centre for Ecological Movement (CEMO) organized CEMO Inter-school Eco Fest 2026 at Rotary Sadan of Kolkata on 26 March 2026. Eight reputed institutions, including The Heritage Academy High School, Young Horizons School, Mahadevi Birla Shishu Vihar, The BSS School, Garden High School took part in the fest. The following events were held under the supervision of subject experts, judges and eminent panellists:

• Panel Discussion on water scarcity in the 21st century – Nandika Das (VII A) and Srijani Mukherjee (VII C) represented Garden High School in this event.
• Reel Making on the theme ‘Every Drop Counts’ – Krishiv Bose (VIII B) of Garden High School bagged the 2nd prize.
• Inter-school Quiz on the theme ‘The Wild World’ – The team from Garden High School comprised Anurag Debsarkar (VI A) and Debaditya Sen (VIII A). They secured the 1st position in the competition.
• Multi- Media Skit on the theme ‘The Rhythm of the Wild’ – Garden High School bagged the 1st prize. The participants were Aabhas Rathore (VIII B), Bhivaan Chatterjee (VIII B), Sreyash Sengupta (VIII D), Suhani Bhaumik (VIII F), Agnidipta Dey (VII F) and Srijani Mukherjee (VII C).
