Frank Anthony Memorial Inter-School Debate Competition (Stage I, Junior Category)

Garden High School put up an outstanding performance at the Frank Anthony Memorial Inter-School Debate Competition (Stage I, Junior Category) held at Lion’s Calcutta (Greater) Vidya Mandir on 24 July 2026. The school was represented by Ritabrata Bandyopadhyay (X C) and Aarush Bhowmick (X E). The motion for the debate was ‘This House believes Ecotourism is more harmful than beneficial.’ Aarush spoke for the motion, while Ritabrata opposed it.

Competing against 10 other schools, the Garden High School team emerged as the Winning Team, earning qualification for Stage II (Final Round). Adding to the school’s success, Ritabrata Bandyopadhyay was adjudged the Best Speaker of the day.
