International Day of Yoga 2025

Pupils of Garden High School observed International Day of Yoga. The event commenced with brief classroom gatherings, where the teacher explained the importance of Yoga—not just for better physical health but also for mental clarity and environmental harmony.

Thereafter, under the supervision of the PE teachers, the yoga sessions began with gentle warm ups and breathing exercises such as Pranayama (which helps to calm the mind and improve focus). This was followed by simple asanas such as Trikonasana, Bhujangasana, Vajrasana, Utkatasana and Surya Namaskar.

Pupils of junior classes also drew posters on yoga and other environment related themes.
