INTRA-MUN
Garden High School successfully conducted a two-day Intra-Model United Nations (MUN) Conference on 19 and 20 June 2026, with 155 students from Classes VIII to XII participating as delegates. The event provided a platform for students to engage in debates, negotiations and discussions on global and national issues, helping them develop critical thinking, leadership and public-speaking skills.
The conference witnessed enthusiastic participation and remarkable display of research, diplomacy and oratory skills. Swastick Bandyopadhyay (XII A) and Aditya Dhiran (XII C) won the Best Delegate award in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) as representatives of USA, while Ishan Dasgupta (XI A) secured the Best Delegate award in the All-India Political Party Meet (AIPPM) where he role-played the character of Indira Gandhi.
The conference was an enriching learning experience that enhanced students’ understanding of diplomacy and international relations while fostering confidence and teamwork.
