Navigating Early Years – Parenting with Purpose
A Parent Workshop titled ‘Navigating Early Years: Parenting with Purpose’ was conducted on 18 July 2026 and 1 August 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for parents of pupils of Classes III and IV respectively. The interactive sessions focused on helping parents understand the emotional and developmental needs of children and adopt mindful, responsive parenting practices.
Through discussions, reflective exercises and real-life case scenarios, parents explored parenting styles, resilience-building, effective communication, healthy screen habits, emotional regulation and strengthening parent-child connections. The session also encouraged parents to reflect on their own childhood experiences and their influence on parenting choices.
Both sessions concluded with an emphasis on security, consistency, unconditional love and ‘connection before correction’, equipping parents with meaningful tools to support their children’s emotional wellbeing.
