Rabindra Jayanti
The pupils of Class II celebrated Rabindra Jayanti with great zeal and reverence to commemorate the 165th birth anniversary of Kobi Guru Rabindranath Tagore. The programme commenced with a narration highlighting the early life of the legendary poet. This was followed by a melodious choir performance. A touching skit, depicting the affectionate bond between young Rabindranath and his mother, was also enacted. Graceful dance performances to the songs ‘Ha Re Re’ and ‘Kothaye Amar’ added colour and rhythm to the occasion. The programme concluded with the melodious rendition of ‘Phule Phule’, leaving the audience immersed in joy and admiration for the timeless legacy of Rabindranath Tagore.
