Annual Science Exhibition 2019
Garden High School hosted its Annual Science Exhibition on 8-9 November 2019. It was inaugurated by Professor Amitava Raychaudhuri, Professor Emeritus at the Physics Department of the University of Calcutta. Professor Raychaudhuri has worked in diverse areas in particle physics and has more than 100 well- cited published papers in leading international journals.
Those present at the inaugural ceremony were Mr. Indranath Guha, Rector of the School and other members of staff.
Spread over two floors of the School pupils of Classes III to XII put up more than 65 working models, exhibits, charts and experiments of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Home Science, Computer Science and Mathematics.
The exhibition was interactive with parents showing keen interest in understanding from the pupils who were more than happy to repeat the demonstrations for all interested visitors.
